This item has been designed for improved operation on turbocharged engines. In addition to increasing boost pressure response between shifts it will also help to reduce compressor surge and premature boost leakage. This is the 4th generation version with an accumulation of over 25 years since the original Super Sound blow off valve. Continual refinements have been made for improved manufacturing and operation, new finish has improved anti-corrosion properties and beautiful finish provides stylish engine bay dressup. Refined venturi allows for a significant enhancement of airflow speed for sharp release. Internal spring can be adjusted and spring rate can be changed for different custom applications. Available as atmospheric release type and return type for most applications. Release type kits can be converted to return type with the optional return parts set. Head unit can be used as a direct replacement upgrade on any of the previous version piping/adapters.
