The Yamaha Performance Damper was developed by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. with an innovative idea never seen before. The Cox Body Damper was released for the aftermarket by making the most of Cox's know-how so that more people could experience its effects.
The Cox Body Damper (Yamaha Performance Damper) is a functional component that dramatically improves vehicle performance through a damping force mechanism that uses a special damper.
By attaching it to the optimal point on the vehicle, it has the effect of quickly and gently adjusting the deformation and vibration of the body that changes depending on the road surface condition, and reduces the feeling of bumping up due to unevenness of the road surface that affects ride comfort, and the deformation while driving. It absorbs only the repulsive force that occurs.
In addition, on winding roads, it absorbs body rollback (repulsion) during cornering, providing overwhelming stability, an effect that can be felt not only by the driver but also by passengers.
Just as suspension damper settings differ depending on the car model, this product is commercialized as a special product with the optimal setting for that car model from a wide variety of damping forces.
