The SPORT S was developed following the SPORT R specifications, but with damping force, sprint rates and stroke geared toward the streets, making them the ultimate weapon for users who like to track their daily car, without sacrificing too much on the comfort side.
To make the coilovers more street friendly, the rear upper mounts are made from reinforced rubber, increasing the ride comfort while reducing the noise.
Monotube Construction:
By allowing for a larger diameter piston for rigidity and creating a larger volume chamber, the system allows for higher range of piston speeds, and finer level of damper control at all stroke speeds.
24-Step Adjustment Range:
Patented Cusco needle-valves are precision fitted for precise adjustments .
Full Length Adjustment:
The damper body case is made to allow for maximum height adjustment without influencing the spring preloads.
As the damper stroke can be adjusted independently, the stroke/spring relation can remain ideal regardless of the height setting, enhancing the handling limits all the while providing a compliant ride and suspension functionnality.
Cusco Sport "Blue Spring":
The springs are shot-peened and wound using advanced anti-sagging metallurgy process.
Precision Crafted Upper Mounts:
These upper mounts are made with standard camber adjusments, or with Cusco's new "CC" Camber/Caster adjustable units, optimising alignment for even finer adjustments.
Inverted Piston Design:
all McPherson strut type applications come with inverted piston for superior durability and more precise performance as well.
Lower Bracket Camber Adjustment:
The lower bracket allows for additional camber to be dialed in through the use of correction bolts supplied with some McPherson type suspension units.
