While the genuine part uses a fine-mesh ceramic catalyst (600 cells + 400 cells), this product employs a low-density metal catalyst (150 cells x 2). Lost-wax casting is used for the connection point with the turbocharger, and the vehicle-specific design significantly reduces exhaust resistance. By optimizing the proportion of precious metals and designing a structure that prioritizes exhaust efficiency, we have achieved both high purification performance and low exhaust pressure, and have obtained exhaust gas certification from public institutions. A specially designed heat shield is included as a measure against heat damage. This product features a mirror finish achieved through buffing and TIG welding, demonstrating a commitment to both appearance and aesthetics.
Performance comparison: In flow bench tests, the HKS Metal Catalyzer (hereinafter referred to as HKS Catalyzer) was able to reduce exhaust resistance by approximately 51% compared to the genuine catalytic converter.
