The "GTIII Turbine" was born from a combination of MHI CHRA, which incorporates the latest turbo technology for today's highly efficient engines, and an original HKS housing that incorporates all of the know-how cultivated over many years of developing tuning turbos.
The latest high-efficiency MHI center cartridge is used.
The latest engines require turbochargers to be highly efficient and boosted, and thanks to advances in numerical analysis and advances in machine tools, it is now possible to machine out complex blade shapes that could not be made by casting. Therefore, the GTIII impeller can ensure high boost without causing surging even in low airflow areas.
HKS, who knows turbo engines inside and out, has designed the optimal housing by utilizing its many years of know-how in turbocharger development and the latest fluid analysis. The combination of the best blades and the optimal housing has a wide range of high compressor efficiency, so it is a so-called wide range turbo, which makes it easy to match with the engine and allows you to enjoy your favorite settings. The 4G63's tuning menu has also reached a mature stage, with the 4G63 having the potential to produce over 257kW (350ps) even with boost increased from the original turbine. As such, it is not generally assumed that this will be installed in a vehicle with a fully stock fuel system. However, for those who wish to achieve milder characteristics with reduced boost pressure (below 98kPa), we have made a special restrictor available as an option.
When installing, it will be necessary to modify the original parts.
Strengthen the engine and fuel system as necessary.
