This is a reinforced ignition coil kit designed specifically for the "Civic Type R (FD2)".
The FD2 offers an enjoyable feeling at high RPMs, but as time passes, the original ignition system has deteriorated and misfires at high RPMs can become more likely.
Domestically produced ignition coils are highly durable and high performance.
The kit is easy to install thanks to its specially designed collar, bracket, and harness.
The ignition coil produces a secondary voltage that is up to 1.6 times higher than the original, preventing misfires especially at high RPMs.
The ignition coil is mounted higher than the factory position, away from heat sources, improving the lifespan of the ignition coil.
It can still function with the original ECU, so it is also recommended as a replacement for the original part that has deteriorated over time. (If the dwell time can be changed, we recommend changing it.)
By using an ECU such as "F-CON V Pro" to optimize the dwell time, the ignition coil can perform better and combustion conditions can be improved.
