Stock caps are not equipped to handle higher pressure, causing fluid to leak out into the overflow reservoir. The Mishimoto High-Pressure 2.0 Bar Radiator Cap will keep coolant where it needs to be– flowing within the system. This cap fits most import vehicles.

High Pressure radiator caps help keep your cooling system at a higher pressure to increase the boiling point of your coolant and allowing it to absorb more heat from your engine.
When water is pressurized, its natural boiling point is increased. Most modern vehicles are equipped with a 0.9 Bar pressure cap, which allows for a normal, 100 Degrees Celcius. A 1.3 Bar cap increases the boiling temperature of your coolant to 131 degrees Celcius. By increasing the boiling point of water, an engine's cooling system will have the added heat capacity, maximizing perfromance.
