Whilst the design of the Honda Civic Type R FK8 is certainly eye catching and an overall excellent one, there are some areas that can be improved. The unsightly beige expansion tank in the engine bay is one of them.
The Mishimoto aluminium tank not only directly replaces this eye-sore, it also offers a longer lasting, performance orientated alternative. The sleek design, with it's optional wrinkle red or black coating, looks far more at home in the engine bay and whatsmore, will last longer.
Internal baffles keep the coolant level during aggressive driving, preventing any chance of air entry into the cooling system and a sight glass allows for quick checks to the fluid level.
