NISMO lightweight flywheel made only for NISMO single plate clutches. Not just light: the lightening is optimised so engine speed does not fluctuate at low revs.
Made of high strength chrome molybdenum steel (SCM440H, except the March K12 version), about 60-70% lighter than standard as a single part; total inertia with the NISMO clutch cover and disc is set to about 80-85%, minimising torque loss at low speed and improving response at high revs. Solid type for a more direct feel on engagement than a dual mass flywheel, with a chamfered ring gear for smooth starting.
Includes flywheel bolts and dowel pins (pressed in).
Note: compared with genuine Nissan parts, rattling noise from the transmission or bearings may be more noticeable, especially at idle and when accelerating or decelerating around 2000rpm; this has no effect on quality or performance.
