The ORC Pro Carbon clutch is based on the Metal twin plate with every part re-tuned for carbon discs. The light carbon discs give very low inertia (a twin is around half of a typical single), allowing quick synchronised shifts, and the friction coefficient adapts with temperature: firm torque transmission at circuit temperatures, mild and easy at street temperatures. Pull type operation, standard (STD) cover. It is fitted with the ORC SE mechanism: a cushioning mechanism in the pressure plate that greatly widens the half-clutch range and cuts shock torque on engagement by approx. 40 percent (ORC comparison), protecting the transmission, differential and drive shafts.
