Öhlins Road & Track Suspension Kits have been designed and developed from over 30 years of motorsport success.
With these kits you can now have a track focused kit that gives a ride smooth enough be used on the road. Never before have such high end performance dampers been available for road cars at a reasonable cost.
The damping rate on the Öhlins Road & Track units is fully adjustable and ties compression and rebound together as a matched setting. In 99 percent of cases, Öhlins dampers will suit the customers needs straight from the box, although the Öhlins approved fully trained service centre can provide further assistance if required.
Many of the applications available are ride height adjustable without affecting the fitted length and preload of the spring, although spring preload can also be adjusted.
A unique feature on the Öhlins Road & Track dampers is the Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology. This additional valve supports the basic function of the main piston by allowing increased oil flow through ports in the DFV with sudden damper accelerations, which translates into a more supple ride on uneven road surfaces. The DFV responds automatically to increased shaft speeds, therefore ensuring the adjustability of the shock absorber is not over complicated and instead can easily be set between firm and soft settings via a single adjuster (32 settings).
