Coilover kit - STREET RIDE TYPE-K2, 15-step adjustable damping, MODEL COMFORT twin-spring
STREET RIDE DAMPER TYPE-K2, for kei cars, is Racing Gear's full-length adjustable coilover for street use. It comes with upper mounts using reinforced rubber bushes, so it stays quiet while giving sharper, more responsive handling than the factory setup. Ride height is set by the full-length thread, which keeps suspension stroke rather than trading it away for a lower stance. On some vehicles the original upper mount is reused by design. Damping force is 15-step adjustable, so it can be set for town driving, winding roads, a full car or a heavy load. MODEL COMFORT specification: it runs two springs of different rates together, a main spring and a primary spring, so the suspension keeps following the road surface. That improves grip on the inside wheel through corners and stability on high-speed curves. Sedans use it front and rear, kei cars at the front only.
