"SUPER SHIFT" was developed for the purpose of shortening the stroke and improving the position of the GK5 FIT-RS 6MT. It is a set product with an extension pivot that extends the lower side of the rod of the genuine shift assembly by about 15 mm and a color that can raise the shift assembly by 10 mm.
Since the extension pivot is highly accurate, it is easy to install by simply inserting it into the genuine pivot and fixing it with a set screw. Since the attached fixing screws (2) are locked (locked), it is not necessary to prepare screw lock agents when installing the product. There was no problem in the long-term actual driving test (including circuit driving) with our demo car. By lengthening the underside of the genuine shift rod, it is possible to make a slight short shift. (Extended by about 15mm with respect to the genuine pivot position) If the extension is longer than this, the angle of the shift wire will be strict, so as a result of prioritizing long-term stable use, it was judged that the above dimensions are the best for the extension under the rod. The high-rigidity rack-up collar machined from aluminum is used by replacing the genuine mount collar. As a result, the mount position of the shift assembly can be raised by 10 mm, and the positional relationship between the armrest and knob is improved, making shift operation easier.
