Skunk2s Alpha Series Connecting Rods for Honda SOHC D16A and ZC engines (Vitara Spec) are precision CNC machined from forged 4340 chromoly steel blanks and feature an H-beam design. The Advanced Finite Element Analysis driven design combined with a comprehensive heat treatment, tempering, and shot peening processes results in a rod with excellent strength to weight ratios. Included with each rod are high tensile strength, 3/8-inch ARP2000 bolts rated at 220,000psi. Skunk2 Alpha rods offer industry leading performance and value, and are chosen by engine builders all over the world.
