This aero bumper was developed to maximize front downforce and cooling performance.
Through careful analysis of the canard and underfloor shapes, this design generates strong downforce while minimizing drag. The result is improved front axle load—especially important for front-wheel-drive vehicles—delivering greater stability at high speeds.
Cooling performance was also a key focus. The radiator and intercooler openings have been optimized to increase airflow efficiency, helping to suppress rises in water and oil temperatures under high-load conditions such as circuit driving.
For even higher cooling capacity, dedicated ducts and space on both the left and right inner bumper sections allow for the installation of additional oil coolers—ideal for endurance racing and drivers who frequently push their cars hard.
Brake cooling support: The bumper can accommodate large brake ducts up to 100mm in diameter, helping reduce brake fade during long, continuous driving sessions.
Development was based on real motorsport experience, including vehicle setup and testing from the Super Taikyu series. Prototyping and repeated circuit tests were used to validate downforce gains, while collected data also guided improvements to overall engine bay cooling.
This is a functional aero bumper built to pursue both aerodynamics and cooling performance—refined through real racing know-how and designed for confident, stable, and consistent track driving.
