For caliper clearance, the rule of thumb is to take your rotor diameter in inch and add an extra 4 inches.
In example:
(306mm) 12" Rotors: add 4" - Choose a 16" wheels for good caliper clearance!
(356 mm) 14" Rotors: add 4" - Choose a 18" wheels...etc
